DNA | Mountains 1.1

My first installment of DNA occurred in the San Gabriel Valley Mountains. Mt. Baldy is the picturesque range tucked behind the Claremont Colleges. I worked along Ice House Canyon Trail and hiked deeper for better views. 

The area I chose to work in was downhill from the trail and adjacent to the canyon stream. For DNA Mountains 1.1, I focused on the shape and effort quality of the stream, against the still mountains. I framed my performance area so that I could enter and exit from various points in the space without changing the space.
