Suna No Onna - Woman in the Dunes (1964)
"An entomologist searching for insects by the seaside is trapped by local villagers into living with a widow whose life task is digging up sand for them."

How do create a scary dance? What desert animals strike fear into people's hearts? How do you make the unknown entertaining?

Juxtaposing eerily still scenery against an agile body, Deserts 1.2 focuses on fear and insects.
